Applies to vehicles: with plug-in hybrid drive
Your vehicle is equipped with either auxiliary air conditioning or auxiliary heating/air conditioning*.
The auxiliary heating or auxiliary heating/air conditioning* is switched on, depending on the ambient temperature and the temperature selected on the air conditioner console.
Switching on/off immediately
You can switch the air conditioning on/off immediately via the MMI* ►Link. Or:
You can switch off the blower with the button Fig. 1.
Setting the timer
Use the timer to specify when the vehicle interior is to reach the desired temperature. Your temperature setting and the ambient temperature will then determine when the air conditioning is switched on.
Note
  • The air conditioning system heats/cools the interior to the temperature you last selected on the air conditioner control console ►Link.
  • The air conditioner will not switch on or will switch itself off earlier than intended if the battery charge or fuel level is low.
