Unplugging the connector and removing the bulb carrier of the Audi A3

Unplugging the connector

First release the connector -1- and then pull it out immediately -2- Fig. 1.

Removing bulb carrier

When changing a bulb, you must first remove the bulb carrier. There are three securing tabs on the inside of the rear light.

Push the securing tabs -arrows- away from the bulb carrier and lift it off Fig. 2.

Renew the defective bulb ►Link.

Note

Make sure you have a soft cloth ready to place under the glass on the rear light, to avoid any scratches.
