You will find several storage compartments and retainers at various points in the vehicle:
- In the headliner above the interior mirror.
- At the front end of the front seats. This compartment can hold objects weighing up to 1 kg.
- Behind the side trim on both sides of the luggage compartment.
- Coat hooks on the rear side of the B-pillars (in the rear passenger compartment).
- Do not store any heavy or hard objects on the storage shelf behind the rear seat backrest. They could cause injury if the brakes are applied suddenly.
- Always keep the lid of the compartment above the interior mirror closed while the vehicle is in motion to reduce the risk of injury during a sudden braking manoeuvre or in the event of an accident.
- Make sure that any items of clothing hanging from the coat hooks do not obstruct your view to the rear.
- Only use the coat hooks for light items of clothing and make sure that there are no heavy or sharp objects in the pockets.
- Do not use clothes hangers to hang up the clothing, as this could interfere with the function of the head-protection airbags*.
Caution!
Please note that hard objects could chafe against the wires of the heating element in the rear window and cause damage.
