  • Use a small brush to remove snow and a solvent-free de-icer spray to remove ice.
  • Clean the sensors (for the adaptive cruise control* and/or parking aid*) with a solvent-free cleaning agent and a soft, dry cloth.
  • Moisten the camera lens using a commercially available, alcohol-based glass cleaning agent and clean the lens with a dry cloth. The area in front of the camera lens is normally cleaned by the windscreen wipers (applies to Audi active lane assist*).
Caution!
  • If you wash your vehicle with a high-pressure cleaner:
    • Do not hold the nozzle too close to the sensors in the front and/or rear bumper.
    • Do not clean the camera lenses and surrounding areas with the high-pressure cleaner.
  • Never remove snow and ice from the camera lens using warm or hot water - danger of cracks appearing on the lens.
  • Never use abrasive cleaning agents on the camera lens.
