Important: A call must be in progress.
Select: Control button Options.
- To place a further call (Dial): Select Hold. Then enter the telephone number. Select Dial to dial the number. Press the control button (soft key) for End call or press the End call button (hard key) once to end whichever call is active. If you placed a call on hold earlier on, that call will remain on hold. You can end the call on hold by pressing the control button (soft key) for End call or the End call button (hard key) again.
Mute off/on: Your caller cannot hear your private conversations when the microphone is off. However you can still hear the caller.
Hold/Resume: You can put a call on hold and retrieve it later from the hold queue.
End active call: The active telephone call will be ended.
Switch: You can switch between two phone calls (one of them will be on hold at any given time). Press the control button (soft key) for End call to end whichever call is active. The call that you placed on hold earlier will remain on hold.
Conference: Up to five callers and one caller on hold can take part in a conference (depending on the network service). To set up a further call, select Hold to place all the members of an existing conference on hold. To add another caller to an existing conference, select Conference. Select Resume conference if you want to retrieve all participants in an existing conference from the hold queue. Show conference participants allows you to display the participants.
Transfer call/Retrieve call: Select Transfer call to transfer a call from the handset to the handsfree system or the second handset*. The handsfree system is automatically activated if you insert the handset in the carrier during a call. You can use the Retrieve call function to transfer a call back from the handsfree system or the second handset* to the handset. The system automatically switches to the handset if you remove the handset from the carrier during a call via the handsfree system.
Send tone sequence: This function is used to load DTMF tones from the stored phone numbers. You can also enter DTMF tones directly on the keypad during a call.
Menu: You can access the menus during a call.
Note
To prevent acoustic feedback from the handsfree system, there is a short delay in the audio when the handset is placed in the carrier during a call.
