Applies to vehicles: with Rear Seat Entertainment
The controls on the RSE are analogous to those on the MMI control console. The RSE control console is used to operate both RSE displays.
To switch on the RSE: Briefly press the left/right ON/OFF button -1- Fig. 1. Or: Press one of the buttons for calling up menus directly -2-.
To switch off the RSE: Press and hold the left/right ON/OFF button until the RSE is switched off.
When the system is switched on, the last selected menu will be displayed.
When the ignition is switched off, a message indicating that the RSE is in standby mode will appear on the left/right display. If you do not press the left/right ON/OFF while this message is displayed, the RSE system will be switched off automatically.
Note
- If the engine is switched off and the battery charge level is low, the RSE system will be switched off automatically.
- If the RSE system cannot be switched on, check the child lock settings in the MMI Link.
