Select: Function selector button CAR > control button Car systems > Vehicle settings > Garage door opener Program garage door opener.
Select the button you would like to program.
Follow the directions on the infotainment system.
If the garage door drive also has to be synchronised with the HomeLink module, please refer to the instructions for the garage door drive.
Erasing the button programming
To erase the settings of all programmed buttons at once, select: Function selector button CAR > control button Car systems > Vehicle settings > Garage door opener > Clear program settings > Yes. Programmed buttons cannot be erased individually. Reprogram the buttons if necessary.
To reprogram an individual button, proceed as though you were programming the button for the first time.
Displaying the version/status/regional code
Select: Function selector button CAR > control button Car systems > Vehicle settings > Garage door opener Version information.
Note
- The required distance between the hand-held transmitter and the HomeLink module inside the front bumper depends on the system you are programming.
- With some types of garage door opener, you may need to briefly release the button during programming and then press it again. When programming a new device, keep the button pressed for at least 15 seconds before trying again with the transmitter in a different position. Watch out for the hazard light signals during that time.
