Certain preparations must be made before you change the wheel.

Apply the parking brake.
Move the selector lever to position P.
If you are towing a trailer, unhitch it from your vehicle.
Take out the tools Link.
WARNING!
If you have to change the tyre on a gradient, block the wheel opposite the wheel being changed by placing a wheel chock Link under it to prevent the vehicle from rolling away.
