- Fig. 1 Making a new entry
To make a new entry you must first enter a name. Then you can enter additional information such as the telephone number, postal address or navigation destination.
Important: The directory must first be opened Link.
Turn the rotary pushbutton to New entry Fig. 1 and press to confirm. The input menu will appear in the MMI display.
Press the rotary pushbutton to open the entry field Surname. The speller will appear on the MMI display Link.
Using the speller, enter the name and confirm your entry by turning the speller to mark OK and then pressing the rotary pushbutton. The input menu will appear again in the MMI display.
To enter more data, select an entry field using the rotary pushbutton and proceed as described above.
You can store up to five telephone numbers for each directory entry. In addition, you can assign a type (business or private) and a category (land line, mobile or fax) to each telephone number. You can also select a telephone number that you use frequently as preferred number. This number is then displayed first when the address card is opened.
Note
- The entries are automatically stored when they are entered.
- The new entry is stored in the local memory of the current profile. The local memory of the current profile is limited to 100 entries.
