The adaptive cruise control system can react to a limited extent to stationary vehicles Fig. 130► if you are travelling at less than 50 km/h and the system considers it unlikely that avoidance action will be taken. For example, if a vehicle -A-, which has already been detected by the adaptive cruise control, turns off or changes lane and another stationary vehicle -B- is located in front of that vehicle, the system will react to the stationary vehicle.
