Applies to: vehicles with Audi connect emergency call and service
Emergency calls can be made in two different ways.

Important: The LED in button -1- must be lit in green. If the LED is lit in red, the service is unavailable.
Manual emergency call
Important: The ignition must be switched on.
Press button -1- Fig. 228►. The LED will flash green and the emergency call will be placed.
If you press button -1- accidentally, press it again within 6 seconds to cancel the emergency call.
Automatic emergency call
In some circumstances, the vehicle s electronics will make an emergency call automatically. This may, for example, occur if an airbag has been triggered. In this case, the LED in button -1- flashes in green and an emergency call that cannot be cancelled is made.
Note
If the emergency call is dropped due to a poor connection, the system will re-connect automatically.
